A MASSACRE OF THE INNOCENTS

Along with my old pal Ratty (and probably most members of this site) I am still in shock at the sheer scale of the atrocity to hit the USA.

Whilst I am no fan of the USA, and I particularly despise the Burning Bush, make no mistake about it my sympathies go to those, wherever in the World they are, who have lost loved ones in these attacks.

I have no time at all for the politics of the Yanks but nobody deserves this kind of barbaric attack.

Let's hope that common sense will prevail and those in power remember that gut reactions usually cause more problems than they solve.

I will return to this page on 1st October after my holiday in Spain. In the light of this senseless slaughter politics has lost its appeal for the moment, I find I am merely going through the motions.

ENJOY THE FUN!

While the fascist rabble who inhabit the Tory Party are engaging in their own private civil war it has been our pleasure to sit on the sidelines and watch them.

The other day I spent a little time on the Conservative site on MSN Communities and read some of the debates on their message board relating to the farce.

It won't come as any surprise to you, my ever so loyal readers, that the bastards banned me from their site after posting loads of messages to Vote Labour! So I sign out of MSN communities and go in and read it that way!

However, I still have a member in place there in case they ever become a closed community like the Far Right nutters had to after the little bit of sabotage I inflicted on their nonsense which meant that the bastards had to remove a load of their filth!

But, having strayed somewhat, I'll return to the point in hand which is that it is well worth reading what our opponents write, if only to have a good laugh! I sometimes feel like inviting some of the more liberal members of the site to visit us!

But, of course, should they ever do so they would find themselves banned immediately for past crimes.

IS BLAIR DOING A THATCHER?

It happens to almost all Prime Ministers in the end. They get so detached from reality that they lose track of what they were elected to do.

The Old Bag once famously said "every PM needs a Willie" (she was referring to Bumbling Billy Whitelaw of course!) What she meant by that statement was that without someone keeping their ears to the ground to find out what was happening, what was being said and who was plotting against the PM a touch of arrogance would creep in.

The worst excesses of the Tory misrule all occurred after the 1987 election, especially the dreaded Poll Tax. By then of course old Willie had been disposed of and the mad cow lost touch with everything, and many would say her marbles too!

Anyway, to get back to the point, it would seem that since the general election The Blessed Tony has been steering a similar course to the mad cow. How long will it be before some satirists come up with something along the lines of the Spitting Image gag where Thatcher and her cabinet were having dinner and the waiter asked her what she wanted for dinner and she said steak . . . the waiter then asked about the vegetables. And Thatcher said they'd have steak too!

The whole point being that Tony needs to start listening. He has lost touch with the grass roots of his party, he has lost touch with those who stayed loyal to his party through the lean times, and he has lost touch with his MPs.

The decision to allow McMuck to sponsor the party conference is a clear sign of the arrogance and detachment of senior party members.

All that I ask for is that we see a Labour Government determined to focus on the real issues and help those who need it most - and that does not mean some mega-rich Yankee waste-peddlars. (Has anyone else heard the saying "have a McMuck, have a shit!") The only thing that rubbish is good for is as a laxative.

Hasn't it occurred to the party heirarchy that this bunch of wankers is the same bunch of wankers that opposed the minimum wage, that will not allow trade union representation (has TB forgotten that the Unions founded the party that he is temporarily in charge of?), that get schoolkids to work unsocial hours contrary to the law?

Come on Tony, cut the crap and start listening? Remember, even the Tories were prepared to dump Thatcher in the end! If you carry on like you are you'll find yourself on the back benches (or if the arrogance gets too much the opposition benches) sooner rather than later.
