It makes me sick to see Tory B.Liar acting in the fashion that he has over the Firefighters strike. It was bad enough when the Tory leech who took over the Labour Party stuck to Tory spending plans in his first term. But to intervene to guarantee a strike by the firemen is unacceptable. Either Tory Boy wants a strike to be compared to his hero Thatcher or he has been badly advised by the Tories he surrounds himself with. I long ago came to the conclusion that Labour is dead and there are merely two Tory parties to choose from.

One of my Labour councillors has resigned. It is highly unlikely there will be a by-election because it is only six months until the whole council come up for re-election. However, I will vote Lib Dem this time - even though Labour are the only way of stopping the Tories.
